SBG 59: Thelma and Louise with Jasmin Savoy Brown

Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) sit down with actor and singer/songwriter Jasmin Savoy Brown (@jasminsavoy) to talk about why Thelma and Louise Should’ve Been Gay.

Arguably, this film is already pretty gay. What could be gayer than two “best friends” running away together, ditching all the men in their lives, and kissing before driving off the edge of the Grand Canyon? Thelma and Louise are full of chaotic lesbian energy and we are here for it.

We talk about why this movie still resonates with women today, how we would rewrite the movie to be even gayer, and we do a dramatic reading of some of the most queer lines in the film.
