Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) are joined by freelance journalist and Taylor Swift expert, Becca Damante (@beccadamante) to talk about why Taylor Swift's Folklore Should've Been Gay. This is our first ever Should've Been Gay for an album and we could not be more excited for this pick. We talk about the teenage love triangle between Betty, James and a third mystery woman, Taylor Swift's very specific choice of words like chosen family, hiding in the closet and literally every lyric in Betty. Riding on your skateboard, kissing in front of all your stupid friends and leading her to the garden, sound familiar or just gay? We end the debate that James is a man with the irrefutable argument that a high school boy couldn't get away with sleeping next to his girlfriend and dreaming about another girl all summer long, but who could?! Lesbians! Sleeping next to their girlfriend and pretending it's a harmless sleepover since 1999. And of course we had to dive into some #kaylor theories because it's just too fun not to! Follow along on Twitter @lezhangoutpod and Facebook and Instagram (@lezhangoutpod).
