SBG 24: Harry Potter with Barbelle's Karen Knox and Gwenlyn Cumyn
Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) are joined by Karen Knox (@karenxknox) and Gwenlyn Cumyn (@gwenlyn.cumyn), the co-creators and stars of Barbelle (@barbelle.series) as our first two time guests to talk about why Harry Potter Should Have Been Gay. In a world where magic is always a metaphor for gayness, gay magic children are sent to the opposite of conversion camp where their gay headmaster encourages them to hone their gayness and become super gays. Karen ships Harry and Draco aka #darry or #drarry and their hot summer romance doing wizarding community service in their magic pick up truck. Leigh ships Hermione Granger as the woman that no man deserves and Fleur Delacour #fleurmione as equals in wit and beauty who fall in love as young teachers at Hogwarts. Ellie talks about all of the characters who are just straight up gay from Madame Hooch, Sybill Trelawney, Minerva Mcgonagall and Tonks. Extreme wishful thinking for Bellatrix Lestrange leads them all down a strangely kinky path and shipping Luna Lovegood and Bellatrix #lovestrange. Gwen ships Luna Lovegood and Ginny, but comes to the conclusion that Ginny is a wet blanket and Luna can do so much better. #linny Listen to the episode to hear more!
