Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) are joined by Julia Lindon (@julialindon) to talk about why Now and Then Should've Been Gay. Rosie O'Donnell and Christina Ricci as aged and young Roberta are too gay to function. Roberta binds, thinks kissing boys is "okay" and she's in love with her best friend. What could be more gay than that? Demi Moore in a lesbian power suit as aged Samantha, that's what! Chrissy is practically begging to give Roberta mouth to mouth when she thinks she's about to drown and Teeny is far too obsessed with boobs to be straight. While it's clear that Roberta and Samantha are the most obviously gay of the bunch, we couldn't quite decide who our favorite pairings were. Roberta and Samantha, Roberta and Chrissy, Samantha and Teeny? This movie is gay magnetism at it's finest. Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) hang out with Jimanekia Eborn (@jimanekia) - Queer Media Consultant, Comprehensive Sex Educator, and Sexual Assault & Trauma Expert to talk about gaslighting, consent and healing from sexual trauma within the queer community. It's not all seriousness because survivors of trauma can laugh too. Like Jimanekia always says, "Laugher is the lube of life." Leigh (@lshfoster) and Ellie (@elliebrigida) hang out with Carolyn Bergier, Jes Tom and Elsa Waithe for their first LIVE SHOW in New York at the Bell House. Carolyn Bergier dives into why Law & Order SVU should've been gay because Mariska Hargitay, all of the sexual tension between Olivia Benson and Alex Cabot and Olivia's pajama vest. Jes Tom dives into why Phantom of the Opera Should've Been Gay from Meg's unrequited love for Christine, the idea of hiding and the amount of unnecessary touching and longing glances from Meg during Think of Me and Angel of Music. Elsa Waithe dives into why Matilda Should've Gay because Miss Honey turned all of us gay. Also pretty much every actor in that movie is now some sort of queer in real life. Oh and the Trunchbull. It's all too obvious. Subscribe to our mailing list for updates on upcoming live shows. Follow along on Twitter: Lez Hang Out (@lezhangoutpod) and answer our Q & Gay at the end of every episode.
